scale our global growth, Trtl's creator and PR community remains an essential pillar in our
brand's storytelling.
Role Overview
We're looking for an agile Partnerships Manager to play a fundamental role in shaping Trtl's PR
and content strategy. Working closely with the Head of Digital Growth, you'll be experienced in
finding the right commercial mix of PR, creators and brand ambassadors to amplify Trtl's reach.
In this role, you will work alongside our TikTok agency, overseeing strategy, performance/ROI,
affiliates, live content and operations, supported day-to-day by a Senior Social & Partnerships
Executive who reports into you. Beyond creator communities, you'll also be adept in the fields of
traditional PR and direct brand partnerships with the confidence to spark, cultivate and manage
business relationships both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok UK Platform Management
Serve as Trtl's TikTok platform manager and account contact (supported by the Senior
Social & Partnerships Executive), leading the strategy and its sustainable growth with
the in-place agency.
• Drive a unified TikTok organic social presence that reinforces the brand mission,
ensuring consistency across content, tone and audience engagement.
• Lead and report on the performance and success of the strategy, providing regular
insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Work alongside our agency, to manage TikTok affiliates, including commission
structures and tier management, ensuring a commercially sound and scalable affiliate
programme.
• Own the TikTok Lives strategy, developing a structured approach to live content that
drives engagement, reach and conversion.
• Understand TikTok backend management (including account settings, analytics,
campaign setup), with day-to-day execution handled by the Senior Social & Partnerships
Executive).
• Work in close collaboration with the TikTok agency, aligning on cross-market strategy,
content learnings and campaign activity.
People Management
• Directly manage the Senior Social & Partnerships Executive, who is responsible for day-
to-day organic social activity, customer service, campaigns and TikTok Ads.
• Provide clear direction, creative briefs and performance targets to the Senior Social &
Partnerships Executive, supporting their development and ensuring quality output.
• Drive a collaborative and high-performing team environment, with the ability to delegate
effectively while maintaining strategic oversight.
• Drive a unified social presence across all channels that reinforces Trt's brand mission
and delivers sustainable, long-term growth.
Content Creator Strategy
• Develop and scale a first-class content creator strategy for Trtl across all social channels
with a primary focus on the growth of TikTok affiliates.
• Co-ordinate with the TikTok agency to maintain a data-driven and commercially mindful
approach with the ability to quickly pivot into trends/cultural moments and translate these
into influencer-led creative concepts for organic social and paid channels.
• Work with the TikTok agency on end-to-end outreach, recruitment and management of
content creators/influencers across all levels from UGC to brand ambassadors, including
contract negotiations, creative briefs and brand alignment.
• Working closely with the Head of Digital Growth, cultivate direct content creator
relationships to support channel performance to target for Meta, TikTok and all D2C
channel affiliate programmes with a test and learn approach.
• Scale and maintain a vibrant community of content creators for Trtl via online and offline
events and networking opportunities.
Brand Activations
• Lead and manage brand activations, from concept through to execution, ensuring
alignment with Trtl's brand values and commercial objectives.
• Identify and develop activation opportunities that build brand awareness, deepen
audience engagement and create compelling content for social channels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader team to ensure activations are integrated
into Trtl's wider marketing calendar and communication strategy.
PR & Partnerships
• Working with the Head of Digital Growth and the in-place PR agency, coordinate Trtl's
communication strategy/calendar including online/offline media publications and content
creator networks.
• Primary point of contact for Trtl's agency coordinating BAU management of TikTok US
and UK, including content creator gifting, performance analysis, campaign support and
organic content.
What We're Looking For
• An agile and innately creative thinker with the right balance of attention to detail and the
ability to get the job done.
• Experience with TikTok affiliates and a good understanding of commercial
metrics/success.
• Minimum 3 years in social media, brand communications and/or PR, either brand or
agency side.
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members, with a collaborative and
empowering leadership style.
• A confident and enthusiastic communicator and relationship builder, with strong experience in agency management.
• Able to work at pace and to deadlines with confidence.
• Able to thrive in a team but confidently manage own tasks independently.
• Due to the 24x7 nature of social media and international markets, ability to flex working
hours across the week as appropriate (averaging full-time hours of 35 per week).
• Must hold a valid passport for global travel when necessary (particularly the US).
Nice to Have
• Experience within a fast-paced start-up/SME is not essential but will make you a great fit
for the Trtl team culture and ways of working.
• An established relationship with TikTok directly.
